Terms of Service

Last updated September 8, 2026

Note: This is a starting template. Review and finalize it with your attorney before launch.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Elody's website, applications, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you agree on its behalf.

2. The Service

Elody is an AI voice receptionist that answers calls, captures leads, books appointment requests, and takes messages on your behalf. Appointment bookings are requests you confirm; nothing is promised to a caller on your behalf.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Calls, recordings & messaging

The Service may record, transcribe, and summarize calls, and may send SMS on your behalf. You are responsible for the content of communications sent through the Service and for the required disclosures and consents.

5. Fees

Paid plans and any usage-based charges will be described at sign-up or in your order. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elody is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or missed calls, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will provide notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
